Mary Frances Holloway

Mary Frances Holloway, 84, of Browns Avenue, Ivor, Virginia transitioned Sunday, March 21, 2021 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late India Warren and James Holloway. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Tinnile King, Ruby Coleman, Endie M. Ruffin and Elizabeth Johnson; brother, Andrew L. Holloway. She retired from Smithfield Packing after numerous years of faithful and dedicated service and was a member of Holy Ground Church in Ivor, Virginia. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Nathaniel Holloway of Ivor, VA; daughter, Jasmine R. Holloway Chapman (Brian) of Wakefield, VA; goddaughter, Alethea R. Matthews (Willie) of Hampton, VA; grandsons, Lance Holloway (Ajele) of Newport News, VA, Jamal Holloway of Seattle, WA and Jesse Holloway (Ashley) of Windsor, VA; two sisters, Louise H. Parker (Gilbert-deceased) of Ivor, VA and Lucy D. Newby (Jackie) of Zuni, VA; brothers, William H. Holloway (Ethel J.) of Ivor, VA and Celicia Holloway or Norfolk, VA; 12 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021 in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Ivor, Virginia.
