Marie Louise Croker

Marie Louise Croker passed away Monday November 30, 2020@ Sentara Obici Hospital. She was born to the late Virginia Jones Croker and Clifton Croker. A native of Suffolk, Va. Educated in Nansemond County School System. She worked at Suffolk News Herald for several years until her health declined. Marie was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church. She served on the Senior Usher Board. She was loving, caring, and devoted to her family and friends. She had a heart of gold. She would always say “family first”. She was preceded in death by her siblings Willie Jones Sr, Amos Turner, George Lee Croker, and Emma Knight as well as other loved ones. Marie leave to cherish her wonderful memories, son Dean Croker and daughter Deneen Ricks (Brian) both of Suffolk, Va. Her sisters, Doris Croker and Mary Jones both of Suffolk, Va. Grandchildren, Shakebra Eley, Ashley Croker, Tywann Eley, and Crystal Ricks. Great grandchildren Nakarion Eley, Zion Eley, Levi Eley, and Nolan Ricks and a host of devoted family and friends. A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2020 in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
