Margrit Ann Booth

Margrit Ann Booth, 73, of Dill Road, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Friday, March 27, 2020 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Boone and Johnnie B. Boone. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph T. Booth; four sisters, Emily Boone, Mary M. Boone, Alice Robinson and Martha Hall; three brothers, Johnnie Boone, Jr., Alexander Boone and Wendell Boone. She was a graduate of Gates County Public School System. She was a member of New Mount Joy Food for Living Ministries where she participated in every phase of ministry. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 56 years, Joseph H. Booth of the home; daughter, Lynette (Barry) Smith of Suffolk; three sons, Rev. Earl Boone, Scott T. Boone and Robert L. Booth all of Suffolk, VA; two sisters, Syroa Milteer (Zachariah) and Sandra Boone of Suffolk, VA; two brothers, Ocie Lee Boone and Calvin Boone both of Suffolk, VA; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
