Lucy Faulk

Lucy (Honey) M. Faulk, 88 of 3952 Starboard Rd, Chesapeake, VA transitioned Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Bon Secour Nursing Facility. She was the daughter of the late Viola Boyd Minggia and Bennie Minggia. She was a faithful member of Piney Grove Baptist Church all her life until her health began to fail. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Samuel Faulk, Jr. of Carrsville, VA and Alvin Faulk, Sr., (Margaret) of VA Beach, VA; daughter, Brenda Hollomon of Chesapeake, VA,; sister, Shirley Faulk of Suffolk, VA; two brothers-in-law, Allen Biggs (Stephanie) of Columbia, Maryland and Linwood Faulk Sr. (Merline) of Suffolk, VA; two sisters-in-law, Luevirttey Minggia of Portsmouth, VA and Ellen Brown of Hempstead, NY; seven grandchildren, Patrina Faulk, Marquis Brown, Alvin Hollomon III, Daphane Walton, Tyrone Eley, Alvin Faulk Jr. (Janis), and Shalonda Johnson (David); 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; god son, Roger Sharp (Sharon); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thanks to Tammi Lawrence and Nina Barnette for their professional services. A viewing will be held from 12-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. A celebration of life will be held noon, Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Piney Grove Baptist Church-Buckhorn, 4901 Deer Path Road, Suffolk, VA 23434. Pastor Larry Parker will deliver the message of comfort. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
