Loerene M. Powell, 90, of South 12th Street, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Sentara Obici Hospital. A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Metropolitan Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
