Lillian Sweat Copeland

Lillian Sweat Copeland, 90, of Dover CT transitioned Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents Margaret Booth and Jolly Sweat; husband, Joseph Murray Copeland; sisters, Mae Anna White and Thelma Landston; brother, Jolly Roland Sweat. She was a devoted wife, mother and fantastic homemaker. She worked for three years at Reis of New Haven in New Haven, Connecticut. She was also a member of Palm Tree Baptist Church (Somerton). She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Vernon Copeland of Suffolk; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held noon, Wednesday, March 18,2020 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home.
