She had a remarkable talent for creating stunning works of art, often described as "blinging," which brought joy to those around her. LaVonda dedicated many years of her life to serving others in her role as a Human Resource Associate at Walmart before advancing to become a Human Resource Specialist at Premiere Solutions, where she continued to make a difference.

LaVonda leaves behind a loving family that includes her husband of eight years, Mr. William L. Jordan, who stood by her side through thick and thin. She adored her bonus daughter, Shanice N. Hill of Norfolk, VA, and her bonus son, Antonio L. Jordan (Kayla) of Orlando, Florida, who brought immense pride to her life. Her heart will forever carry the love for her bonus grandchildren, Elaina, Makhi, and Dejuan Jr.

She is also survived by her devoted mother, Annette M. Hunter, her mother-in-law, Linda D. Boone of Portsmouth, VA, and two loving sisters, LaTarisha L. Mann and Aja Reed. A very special niece that was like a daughter, Andre'ya "Sunshine" Mann; nephew, De'Andre Mann; Additionally, her brother Deshawn Reed of New Jersey, along with her aunts Ada Miller, Cynthia Saunders (Ronnie), Bernice Freeman (Steve), and uncles Benjamin Mann and Michael Mann, will hold her memory dear, along with a plethora of cousins and friends.
