Lavern Peden Barnes

Lavern Peden Barnes departed this life on February 4, 2024, after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Barnes Sr. She is survived by her sister Janey Peden Harper, a host of nieces and nephews, and a devoted friend Ruth Williams of Fort Washington, MD.

In addition, after moving to Suffolk, VA, last year, she made many friends at the Centerbrooke Apartment Complex. The family truly appreciated all the love and support that her neighbors showed her there. We will never forget that.
