On Wednesday, November 8, 2023, God called our beloved Larry Junior Wiggins (Bug) 75, to his heavenly home. Larry was born on December 21, 1947, in Suffolk, VA to the late Sarah and Willis O.C. Wiggins.
Larry worked many years as a landscaper and with multiple peanut factories. Anyone who knew Larry knows that he was a dedicated worker and didn't mind working. He was well known by many and to know him was to love him. He was a phenomenal man!
Larry married the love of his life Janice R Wiggins (deceased). In this union, Larry and Janice had one daughter, Loretta Wiggins Johnson and one son, Samuel Wiggins. Larry also raised Barbara Watford, Judy Eure (diseased), and Shan Hawkins. Larry loved his family and enjoyed getting together for family functions. He was said to be the life of the party. He made everyone feel important, but watch out, you would be dancing with him, and you would look up and he might be popping and locking, or maybe even doing the robot! Everyone would be having so much fun because he was in our presence and enjoying himself.
Larry leaves to cherish in his memory, one daughter Loretta Wiggins Johnson (Chesapeake VA) one stepdaughter Barbara Watford (Suffolk VA), and one son, Samuel Wiggins (Norfolk VA). He leaves two sisters Louella W. Dildy (Jefferson - Deceased), Evelyn Wiggins (Stanley), and one brother Willie P. Wiggins all of Suffolk VA. He leaves three grandchildren Larry Wiggins (Norfolk, VA), Tiffany Roberts (Texas), and Jeanette Wiggins (Norfolk, VA), and 17 great-grandchildren. One step-granddaughter Kinara Reid, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A special niece and nephew Cynthia and Cheyenne Johnson and special cousins Ricky Dildy and William Jones Jr. of Suffolk, Va). He also leaves a host of devoted friends Andrew James, Lawrence Brown, Rita Hunter (Suffolk, VA), Helen Morris, Zennie Morris (Chesapeake, VA), Michael Futrell, and Bonnie Mitchell (Suffolk, VA).
Larry was loved by many and will truly be missed.
