Larry Darnell Taylor

Larry Darnell Taylor, age 65, transitioned from his earthly life early Saturday, morning, February 15, 2020 at Accoridus at Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation. Larry lived in the city of Suffolk most of his life. He was renown for his bass guitar playing. He played in a number of bands all of his life. At the time of his death he was bass player for the Gospel Disciples. Larry was predeceased by his parents James H. Taylor Sr. and Isabel Baker Taylor and his younger brother Michael Taylor. He is survived by his wife Jenee' Taylor; daghter, Jaquay Taylor; brother, James Taylor, Jr. (Shriley) and two sisters, Cynthia Simms (Ivan) and Valerie Burton (Bill); devoted friend Andrew Smith (Tina) of Trenton; grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Greater Sweet Beulah Apostolic Church. He will be laid to rest in the C.W. Ash Garden of Carver Memorial Cemetery.
