Laron Michael Vann, 43, of Bangor Crescent in Chesapeake, was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Sentara Obici Hospital, in Suffolk, VA. He was a native of Suffolk, VA and the son of the late Larry Wiggins and Vanessa Almond Vann. Laron was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Raleigh Vann & Queen Riddick, maternal grandparents Samuel & Catherine E. Almond and uncle, Andrae D. Hicks, Sr. Laron was a graduate of Churchland High School’s class of 1996. He received his Bachelor's of Science in Business degree from Hampton University in 2002. As an employee of ADI for three years, Laron developed professional relationships and gained lasting friendships. He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted and loving wife, Toni L. Vann; three adoring daughters, Sariyah Vann (Kimberly Williams) Alivia Vann (Lugonda Vann) and Taniya Taylor; his loving sister, Kimberly M. Vann-Haynes (Eric); his father in-law Mr. Tony C. Powell and mother in-law Mrs. Viola S. Powell; two sisters in-law, Trina L. Wilson and Javonda S. Jack; aunts, Jacqueline A. Hicks and Mamie Sutton; great aunts, Michelle Ford and Dr. Robin Langston; two nieces, Erica N. Haynes and Destiny Haynes; two nephews, KaRon M. Vann and Eric Haynes Jr.; special cousins, Jada A. and Andrae D. Hicks II, Morris Simmons (Moe), Shameka Aponte and Vincent Wilson; special friends: Tracy Avery, Tawanna M. Baker, Tiffany Parker, Renee Willis, longtime barber Tory Elam, Jovan Knight, RayNita Morrison, Robert Lee, Nikki Moore, Endia Washington and her son (Lavaughn), and a host of other close relatives and friends as Laron was known and admired by many. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2021 in Carver Memorial Cemetery 2320 E. Washington Street, Suffolk, Virginia.
