Kerry Hawkins

Kerry Hawkins,55, of Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Friday, December 27, 2019. He was the son of the late Julia M. Hawkins and Herbert L. Hawkins. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Herbert L. Hawkins, Jr. He attended Suffolk High School and retired from landscaping after numerous dedicated years. He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Avis A. Hawkins of Suffolk; two brothers, Curtis W. Hawkins of Suffolk and Stevie D. Hawkins of N.C.; four aunts, Shirley Hawkins, Christine Norman, Sylvia Gainey, and Linda Bremby; three uncles, Alphonso (Jeanette) Hawkins, Jerome Bremby, and Randolph Bremby; a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held noon, Saturday, Janaury 11, 2020 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. Elder James Robert Butts will deliver the message of comfort.
