Keonte' Lamont Towns

On August 14, 2020 God sent one of his heavenly angels to call our dear loved one, Keonte' Lamont Towns, home. He was born on June 17, 1993 in the city of Suffolk, Virginia to Stephanie Veronica Towns and David Patrick Franklin. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charlie L. Towns, Sr. and paternal grandparents, Dorothy L., and Delano R. Franklin. He attended and graduated King's Fork High School in Suffolk, VA in June of 2011. He attended New Paul's Temple Holiness Church of Deliverance in Suffolk, VA under the leadership of Dr. C.B. Skinner where he played the drums, bass guitar, and sang in the church choir. He later moved to Rising St. James PHC in Suffolk, VA under the leadership of Pastor Robert A. Wilkins until he was called home. He leaves to cherish his memory, besides his parents, his son Kendrick Towns, his daughter, Khaila Tyler, both of Portsmouth, VA; maternal grandmother, Mary F. Towns, of Suffolk, VA; three brothers, Corey Porter, Jr., of Franklin, VA, DaiQuan Towns, and Khamanti Harrell both of Suffolk, VA; six sisters, LaKora and LaTora Porter, ChiDaia Franklin, Jamyah Franklin, Alyssa Franklin, Taniyla Franklin, all of Suffolk, VA, four uncles, Kevin Towns, Sr., Charlie Towns (LaKesha), Terry Towns (Jayenne) all of Suffolk, VA and James Moses of Portsmouth, VA; two aunts, Rosetta Harper, of Suffolk, Va and Genda Deshiell of Eastern Maryland; five god sisters, Angela Bond, Shaikeyla Jordan, Taikeyla Jordan, Jaikeyla Jordan all of Suffolk and Jada Keeling of Petersburg, VA; two best friends, Carlie Galloway of Virginia Beach and Shawn Howard of Suffolk; one devoted friend, ZyQuacha Sykes of Courtland, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Union Baptist Missionary Church, 5414 Nansemond Parkway, Suffolk, VA, Bishop C.V. Russell, Jr., Pastor. Pastor Robert A. Wilkins will deliver the message of comfort. He will be laid to rest in Langston Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
