Kelley Miller Lewis, Sr.

October 29, 1939 — February 11, 2018

Kelley Miller Lewis, Sr., 78, of Blythewood Lane, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Sunday, February 11, 2018 at his residence. He is the son of the late Sylvia Lewis and Lawrence Lewis. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Lewis and Lawrence Lewis, Jr. Kelley was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. He retired in 2003 from Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia after 22 years of faithful and dedicated service as a Crane Operator. He is a member of Bethlehem Christian Church where he was the chairman of the Deacon Board. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Edna Mason Lewis of Suffolk; daughter, Kim Chisholm (Kenneth) of Suffolk; four sons, Kelley Lewis, Jr. (Johnna) Kevin Lewis and Kolley Lewis (Pleasure) all of Suffolk and Ryan Lewis (Cheryl) of Clinton, Maryland; sister-in-law, Shirley Jean Baker; twelve grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held noon, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministries, 307 County Street, Suffolk, Virginia. Pastor Emanuel Myrick, Jr. will deliver the eulogy. He will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
