Junius Nathaniel Daughtrey

Junius Nathaniel Daughtrey, 71, of E. Washington Street, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Monday, December 28, 2020 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.He was the son of the late Nathaniel and Odessa V. Daughtrey. He was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and retired from Norfolk Naval Base as a Crane Operator after 30 years of faithful and dedicated service. He was also a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a member of the CFC Keel Club. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Alice M. Daughtrey of Suffolk, VA; daughter, Temica Stapleton (Christopher); son, Nikita Daughtrey; stepson, William Brown, Jr.; sister, Michelle Worrell; seven grandchildren; brother-in-law, Edward Wiggins; sisters-in-law, Joyce Copeland (William), Sheila Amos (Michael) and Ann Allen; special family member, Jayla Riddick A viewing will be held 3-5p.m. Monday, January 11, 2021 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel. A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel. Rev. Dr. Anthony Copeland will deliver the message of comfort.
