June Epsel Gatling

June Epsel Gatling, 59, of Dover Court, Suffolk VA transitioned Sunday, September 19, 2021 at his residence. He was the son of the late Annie Ashburn and Kaiser Ashburn. He was a graduate of Windsor High School. He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Cezanne Gatling and Jumera Gatling both of Charlotte, N.C; two sons, June Sykes of Burkeville, VA and Vontae Wellons of Greenville, SC; six sisters, Anita Ashburn of Suffolk, Brenda Ashburn of Suffolk, Sandra King of St. Cloud, MN, Jo Ann Ashburn of Suffolk, J. Elaine Shepherd of Suffolk and Nicole Ashburn of Suffolk; four brothers, Rollie Gatling, George Gatling, Irvin Ashburn, Sr. (Jean) and Kenneth Ashburn, Sr. all of Suffolk; five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held noon, Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 912 Barbara Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
