Johnnie Odom

Johnnie Odom, 75, of Crittenden Road, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned January 31, 2020 at his residence.  He was the son of the late Marion Mann Odom and Horace J. Odom. He was a member of Diamond Grove Baptist Church where he sung in the Male Chorus and Senior Choir. Johnnie leaves to cherish his memory four sisters, Bertha Wiggins (Cornelius) of Suffolk, Kathleen Marshall (Alvin) of Fayetteville, NC, Denice Odom of Suffolk, VA, and Andrea Beckman of Newport News, VA; three brothers, Willie Odom (Doretha), George Odom (Juanita), and Ronald Odom all of Suffolk; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Diamond Grove Baptist Church, 6890 Crittenden Road, Suffolk, VA. Pastor Calvin Lillard will deliver the message of comfort. He will be laid to rest in Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery.
