John Henry White

John Henry White Jr., a resident of James River Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Newport News, VA. passed away on March 06, 2025, at Riverside Medical Center. He was predeceased by his parents John (Jack) White Sr. and Jeanne Hamilton White, son Donnie Davis White, sisters; Jeanne Gonzalez, Jacqueline White, and brother; James White.

He is survived by his brother; Jan White of Boston, Massachusetts, and Judith White of N.J, two daughters; Tammie Bailey (James), Jennifer Dixon (Whitney) 13 grandchildren, and 13 great-grand children.

Mr. White retired 25 years of service as a housekeeper in New Brunswick, N.J, respectfully from Johnson and Johnson and Ethicon, Inc. His motto was, "If it ain't dirty don't clean it. "He was very detailed and meticulous about his position at his job.

Then, in the late 1980s, Mr. White gave his life to Jehovah God as a baptized Jehovah Witness. He began to be a devoted student and family man who worshipped God Jehovah and extended Jehovah Witness Conventions at Hampton Coliseum. His life motto, if you were to ask him, was, "No habla Espanol." If asked how he felt, he replied, " I won't complain, but I feel terrible, because it won't do me any good anyway."

Revelation 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Va. Beach Bayside Recreation Center, 4500 First Ct., Va. Beach, from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
