Jean E. Richardson was born January 18, 1938 in Nansemond County to the late Murphy Rountree and Anna Faulk Rountree. Jean was a domestic worker. She was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie L. Richardson, Sr., daughter, Brenda Richardson, grandson, Alvin Richardson, granddaughter, Theresa Goodman, brother, Wallace Rountree and Mammie Rountree. Sadly on Monday, November 6, 2018 she went to rest. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved children, Lonnie L. Richardson, Jr., Rev. James Richardson (Cynthia), Dennis Richardson (Elsie), Donald Richardson; daughters, Betty Goodman and Barbara Hodges (Minister Lonnie Hodges); sisters, Evelyn Faulk and Eva Bakers, and brother, Ronald Holland (Viola); grandchildren, Shawn, Bud, Andre, Taurus, T.J., Pookie, BJ, JR, Dirk, Ronda, Gabriel, Crystal, Josh, DJ, Jazz, and Buffie; great-grandchildren, Tajah, Tameyah, Analisa, Carin, Makiah, Leanni, Quaran, Taurus, Jr., Timaya, Alexis, Kaleb, Michael, Mia, Dez, Raven, Mi-Mi, Nia, Javante', Theresa, Taylor, LJ, Cameron, Brittney, Jalin, Kanaar, Naala, Danielle, Tah'Niyah, Christian, Kalia, Xavier, and TheAndre; great -great grandchildren, Bryson and Baby Ava; a special friend, Doris Pilgram and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be held noon, Monday, November 12, 2018 at Zion Christian Church. Rev. Richardson will deliver the message of comfort. She will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
