JaQuan Rashad "Pumpkin" "#2" Yulee of Leafwood Road, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Tuesday, July 13, 2021. He is the son of Fred Yulee III and Leslie Manley. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Irene Manley and Vernon Hicks. JaQuan attended Lakeland High School and graduated from Indian River High School. There he was a part of Team U.S.A and McDonald All American Games. He matriculated to Marshall University where he earned a B.S in Health Sciences. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving father and best friend, Fred Yulee, III; mother, Leslie Manley; Paternal grandmother, Janice Copeland; paternal grandfather, Melvin E. Fulgham; adopted grandmother, Janice Davis; six sisters, Deja, Tokileya, Ariana, Francez, Alayshia and Abriana Skye-Waters; two brothers, Treyvon and Cameron; two Mother Figures, Kristy Boone and Biscelgia Johnson; God-daughter, Kailani Henry; four God-brothers, Amarion, Raekwan Johnson, DeJoun Johnson and Carter Knight; special great-great uncle and aunt, Enoch and Jean Copeland; a host of god-sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins and other close family members. A viewing will be held 2-7 p.m. Thursday, July22, 2021 at Balm Church-East Campus. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2021 in the Auditorium of Kings Fork High School. PER FAMILY REQUEST no one will be admitted with a “Memorial T-Shirt” and EVERYONE must wear a facial covering. He will be laid to rest in Laurel Hill U.C.C. Cemetery.
