James Earnest Robinson

James Earnest Robinson, Jr., 86, of Pine Tree Court, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elder James Earnest Robinson Sr and mother Corrine William Robinson.

He was a member of Mt. Calvary Church of God, Smithfield Virginia where he was a Deacon, later found a blessed home at Healing Chapel Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Morris Allmond.

He joined the military in March 1957 and retired March 1986 as first class Petty Officer CB- Vietnam War. He was dedicated life member of the Masonic organization, serving over fifty years, he also enjoyed fishing, bowling, cards, and could dance all night, to and talking about his love for God and his family.

Deacon Robinson is survived by his beloved wife, and children; Jamay, James Robinson III(Corina), Crystal Waters, Andre Lionel Robinson, Sylvia Lewis, Cameron Hill(Angela) Coyeror Boykins(Rontrell), and a host of grand-children, great grand.

He will be always cherished by his surviving siblings; Timothy Robinson (Willa), Omega Robinson (Linda), Luefras Robinson, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends from all over the world.

His loving sister-in-laws (Tracy Jenkins, Robin Pickering (Steven), Shelia Cheek, Kyle Jenkins.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 2p.m.-5p.m. In the Melvin Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Healing Chapel Baptist Church. He will be laid to rest in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
