Jacquline Stallings, a long-time resident of Suffolk, VA transitioned on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 7:45 a.m. at her home. Jacquline was born to the late Malachi Duck and Fannie Mae (Delk) Duck on November 20, 1947 in Windsor, VA. From that union was 11 children. She was predeceased in death by 8 siblings (sisters). She married the late Clarence Stallings of Roanoke Rapid, North Carolina. From that union they had four daughters. She was predeceased by one daughter, Cotina Scott. Jacquline worked as a Nurses' Assistant fro the Suffolk Health Department for a number of years until she came out of work due to health issues. Jacquline was a faithful long time member for over 30 years at Faith of Deliverance Apostolic Church located at 420 St. James Avenue, Suffolk, VA. There she served as a missionary, a dutiful servant unto the Lord. She also served in the choir. She truly loved her FOD Church Family and was very dedicated. Jacquline also loved to write poems. All she had to know is the type of event if was and she would write a poem spontaneously. Some of her work has earned her monetary accreditation from Amazon. Although Jacquline had many trials of sickness, she remained with a smile, the most beautiful smile and was loved by so many. She was "Angelic" in her own right. Missionary Stallings will be greatly missed! She will live on in our hearts forever! She is survived by one brother, Patrick Duck (Franklin, VA); one sister, Melissa Duck (Red Bauk, NJ); three daughters, Stephanie (Steven) Bradshaw of Suffolk, Wanda Stallings of Suffolk, VA, and Alicia Stallings of Suffolk, VA; 7 grandchildren, Antonio Stallings, Quayshanna Stallings-Allen, Khary Smith, Kharissa Smith, Kourtney Stallings, Daquan Stallings, and Keion Stallings; 6 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 12 p.m. at 420 St. James Avenue, Suffolk, VA. Missionary Stallings will be laid to rest in the Chapel Grove Cemetery, located at 7366 W. Blackwater Road, Windsor, VA. A viewing will be held 1-6 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. located at 900 E. Washington Street, Suffolk, VA 23434.
