Jacqueline Pope

Jacqueline Pope was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She departed this life to be with the Lord on November 12, 2023 at the age of 59. God gently removed all her suffering and pain as she transitioned at her residence in Franklin, VA.

She was born on May 1, 1964 to her mother, Coral Lassiter and father, Levon Turner. Jacqueline Pope was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rachel and Lonnie Pope.

Our mother lived her life enjoying herself to the fullest and smoking her weed.

Jacqueline is loved by her family, as her vitality and determination to live life on her own terms has served as inspiration for many throughout the years. Jacqueline was a light for family and friends. A bright star has been extinguished but the light now lives on in the hearts and minds of those who loved her.

She is survived by her children, Danielle Flood, Spangerlen Flood and Jacquelle Hicks; four grandchildren, B.J, Mila, Nova (Tink) and Trey; parents, Rachel and Lonnie Pope; sister, Robin Lassiter; a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
