Hurley Lee Chapman

Hurley Lee Chapman, 68, of Aberthaw Avenue, Newport News, Virginia transitioned Friday, November 8, 2019 at James River Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center. He was preceded in death by his parents Ida Bell Chapman and James (Edward) Chapman.  He leaves to cherish his memory six sisters, Loretta Jackson, Luetta Johnson, Rosa Silver, Alice Mitchell, Marion Darden, and Rendy Veal; five brothers, Henry Willis Chapman, Edward Chapman, Willie Chapman, Louise Chapman, and James (Sunnyboy) Chapman. A celebration of life will be held noon, Thursday, November 14, 2019 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery.
