On Monday, January 4, 2021 Mr. George Wallace Jackson, Jr., a loving and devoted husband to Barbara Jackson; beloved father of Valerie E. Jackson, Terrye L. Jackson, Kellye S. Jackson (Mbaye Mar), and Sophia Bowman-Bond (Nelson Bond) transitioned. Also survived by one brother, Jeffrey Lydell Jackson. Preceded in death by his parents: George Wallace Jackson, Sr. and Isola Gertrude Jackson and two brothers, Albert Lee Jackson and Rev. Dr. James Thomas Jackson. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
