George V. Keys

George Keys, 58, of Third Avenue, Suffolk transitioned Monday, December 23, 2019 at Sentara Obici Hospital. He was the son of Margaret E. Keys and the late George E. Keys. He attended Forest Glen High School and was employed with Bowden Painting Service as a painter for seven years He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, LaToya Gilchrist of Baltimore, Sharonda Gilchrist of York, Penn; and Ebony Gilchrist of Baltimore, MD; two sons, Troy Gilchrist (Dimisha) of Baltimore, MD and Darrell Gilchrist of Baltimore, MD; two sisters, Sheretta Luton (John) of Newport News, VA and Doris Keys of Suffolk, VA; brother, Norris Keys (Cheryl) of Suffolk, VA; 15 grandchildren; four aunts; six uncles; six nephews; five nieces; great nieces; great nephews; cousins; one brother-in-law; one sister-in-law; and friends. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2020 at Piney Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive guest at 104 Ashford Drive, Suffolk, Virginia.
