Gail Anita Brown Wiggins was born in Suffolk, Virginia on February 1, 1964 to the late James and Lucille Brown and John Taylor. She departed this life on July 26, 2018 at Sentara Obici Hospital. Gail was predeceased by her siblings, J.C Brown, Margaret (Jackie) Wall, Elnora Foster and her husband, Robert Foster, III.Gail graduated from John F. Kennedy High School as a member of the Class of 1982. She was employed with the City of Suffolk Public Schools as a Bus Driver for over 20 years. Prior to that she worked at Norshipco for over 10 years.Gail was a sweet loving woman who put family first. Bother family and she would show you a whole different side. She loved taking care of her family. Her biggest joy was to see her family under one roof eating the meals that she lovingly prepared for them. Remaining to cherish her memory are her three children, Tiffanie Goffigan (Corey Pierce), John K Goffigan, III and Jermaine Goffigan (Toni Pretlow). Three siblings, her sister, Virginia “Polly” Gray of Philadelphia, PA, brother, Harvey Brown (Hattie) of Philadelphia, PA and Herbert Brown (Mary) of Suffolk, VA. Six grandchildren she loved wholeheartedly, Javeon, Janyah, Michael, Jordan and Mariah Goffigan, all of Suffolk, VA and Ta-Coreya Pierce of Portsmouth, VA. Her Aunt Ernerstine Langston who she cared for her dearly. A special cousin-sister, Cathey Blount (Linwood) of Suffolk, VA. A host of nieces, nephews and dear friends. A special thanks is extended to Rev. Jarvis Jones of Antioch U.C.C., Langston Family Cemetery, and Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Antioch U.C.C.
