Frederick Darden

Frederick Darden, 72, of Pembroke Lane transitioned Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at his residence. He is the son of Helen Davis and the late Jessie Davis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Darden. Frederick retired from the U.S. Army and Civilian Services after 20 years of faithful and dedicated work. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Jovon Taylor of Chester, VA; sister, Yvonne Fagbuyi of Suffolk, VA; brother, Denvip Davis, Sr. (Edith) of Suffolk, VA; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. A graveside service with military honors will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, VA.
