Frank Harris

Frank Harris, 83, transitioned Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Consulate of Norfolk. He was the son of the late Virginia Harris Jones and Charlie Harris. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Eloise P. Harris, son, Frank Harris, Jr. brother, Charlie (June) Harris and sisters, Mattie Edmonds, Mary B. Franklin, Catherine Johnson and Edith Calvie. He attended Suffolk Public Schools and retired from Mclean Construction Company after 30 years of faithful and dedicated service as a Bridge Builder. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Sharon Holt (Ronnie) of Baltimore, MD, Sylvia Parrish of Suffolk, VA, Lynn Wright (Greg) of Suffolk, VA, Pamela Ruffin (Stephen) of Portsmouth, VA and Bonita Harris of Suffolk, VA; sister, Shirley Clark of Suffolk, VA; brother, John C. Harris of Suffolk, VA; 14 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; a special friend, Matilda Woodley Brite; a devoted friend, Joseph Copeland; a host of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be noon, Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will meet guest at 1852 Nansemond Parkway, Suffolk, VA.
