Faye Frendessa Worthington

January 22, 1960 — December 28, 2021

On December 28, 2021 the death angel visited and quietly took our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Faye F Worthington home to be with the Lord. Faye was born to the late Lonnie C and Ellen J Holland on January 22, 1960. She was a graduate of Forest Glen High School and Paul D Camp Community College, respectively. Faye was a former member of Corinth Chapel UCC and Rising St James PHC (where she was the church secretary, a member of the Senior Choir and secretary of the PCOCH Executive Board as well as the Golden Eagles Ministry). Faye was a current member of Vision Ministries Life Skills and Worship Center, Chesapeake. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Raymond, her son, Ramone Worthington (Nyanja) and her two daughters, Marie Hamlin (Maurice) and Kouston Worthington, a sister, Phyllis Armstrong (Phillip), a special niece, Mya Harris, 5 grandchildren, three sisters-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends. A public viewing will be held 5-7pm, Friday, January 7, 2022 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 8, 2022 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel.
