Evangeline Ashe Bynum

Evangeline Ashe Bynum, 84, of Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Friday, December 20, 2019 at Accordius Health at Nansemond Pointe. She was born to the late Audrey Ashe and Thomas L. Ashe, Sr. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Bynum Jr.; sister, Vandell Arnold; and four brothers, Allison Ashe, Nathaniel Ashe, Thaddeus Ashe, and Thomas Lee Ashe, Jr. She attended Nansemond County Schools. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Cheryl Thompson, of Dover, DE; son, Lance Bynum (Joyce) of Randallswtown, MD; two sisters, Dorothy Brown and Mildred Ashe both of Norcross, GA; brother, Marvin Ashe (Joyce); five grandchildren,and seven grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2019 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home.
