Ellen "Auntie" Faulk-Brown

Mrs. Ellen Louise Brown, aged 83, of Deer Path Road in Suffolk, peacefully transitioned to her eternal rest on Sunday, January 18, 2026. Born to the beloved Kinwood and Essie Faulk, Ellen’s life was deeply enriched by her family and friends. She was welcomed into heaven by her late husband, Phillip Ezekiel Brown, and her cherished siblings, who now watch over her.

Ellen dedicated many years of her life to the Postal Service in New York, where she showcased unwavering commitment and service. After her retirement, she returned to her roots in Suffolk, bringing warmth and love to all those around her.

Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her brother, Linwood Faulk, Sr. (Merline), her dear best friend Clair Peters from New York, and a large family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who hold her memory dear.

A time to honor Ellen’s life will be held with a viewing on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Crocker Funeral Home. A heartfelt celebration of her life will take place at noon on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Piney Grove Baptist Church-Buckhorn, with her final resting place in the church cemetery.
