Elizabeth Ann Anderson, was born July 11, 1950 to the parentage Iola Marie Crawford of East Hartford Connecticut and the late George Crawford Sr. of Hartford Connecticut.

Elizabeth Ann Anderson known to family and friends as (Betty) departed this life on January 17, 2026. She was preceded in death by her father George Crawford Sr., her brother George Crawford Jr. , her sister Lenora Crawford , her sister Krystal Crawford. Her children Anthony Crawford, Deanna Anderson, nephews; Kenneth Crawford, Jamil Crawford and great nephew, Raequann Shuff.

Betty received her early education in Hartford and Manchester, Connecticut. She completed her education in Waterbury, Connecticut. Her career was her children. She was an amazing cook. She loved all genres of music. She enjoyed doing word and Sudoku puzzles. She was an avid reader and would play games on her phone to pass the time. Betty was extremely family-oriented and cared deeply for her loved ones.

Betty leaves to cherish her everlasting memory her long-time companion, James McPherson, her mother, Iola Marie Crawford, her children, Donald Canady, Jeffery Canady Sr., and Brenda (Maurice) Knight. Her grandchildren: Isiah (Ashley) Canady, Preeya Crawford, Sherri Delgado, Jeffery Canady Jr., Donteia Canady, Alex Crawford, Lachelle Canady, Tajuanna  Canady, Olivia Crawford, Elizabeth Canady, Danasia (Lamar) Stallings, Maurice Knight Jr., Brenda Canady, Divontaye Canady, Quaelin Hunt, Jada Canady, Maddox Crawford, Adyson Canady, and twenty great-grandchildren. Her sisters, Winnie Crawford, Jacqueline Bell, Colleen Morray, Christine (Matt), Mathias Mary (James) Carter, Linda Crawford, Martha Crawford, Elaine Williams, Rachelle (Joseph) Taylor, Brothers, Todd Crawford, Paul (Felicia) Crawford, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
