Eldridge J. Boone

Eldridge J. Boone, 52, transitioned on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Deborah Renee and George Scott; father, Henry Harris; maternal grandparents, Andrew and Hattie Rose Boone; paternal grandparents, William and Mary Scott and Henry Watson and Mariah Harris. Eldridge graduated from John Yeates High School in 1989, following graduation he enlisted and served in the United States Air Force where he was blessed to experience life in Foreign Countries while serving his beloved USA. He received many honors and medals within his 10 years of service before his honorable discharge in 1999. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Brina Boone and Tania Carter; grandson, Eli Barbosa all of New Jersey; siblings, Sanesia Scott-Clarke (Troy), Dion Scott, George Porter and Shilonda "Nikki" Harris; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend, Jackie Neville. A celebration of life will be held noon, Saturday, September 2, 2023 at First Baptist Church Mahan. He will be laid to rest in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
