Edna M. Lewis

Edna Lewis, 80 of Blythewood Lane, Suffolk VA transitioned Friday, August 11, 2023 at her residence. She is the daughter of the late Julius and Ruth Mason. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelley Lewis Sr. and son, Kolley Lewis. Edna was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She retired in 1998 from Lipton Tea in Suffolk, Virginia after 25 years as a machine attendant. She enjoyed being a consultant for Home Interior for many years. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church where she served as a Deaconess, Beautification Ministry, and a member of the choir. She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Kim Chisholm (Kenneth) of Suffolk; three sons, Kelley Lewis, Jr. (Johnna) of Suffolk, Kevin Lewis of Suffolk and Ryan Lewis (Cheryl) of Clinton, Maryland; daughter-in-law, Pleasure Lewis; brother, Earl Haskins of Baltimore, Maryland; sister Shirley Jean Baker of Wyandanch, New York; twelve grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; and a devoted friend, Mary Alice Daniel. A viewing will be held 1-7 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2023 at Crocker Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2023 at New Mt. Joy Food for Living.
