Eddie Lee Clemons, 66, of Locust Street, transitioned Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Sentara Obici Hospital. He was the son of the late Octavia Clemons and Cornell Clemons. He was a member of Mineral Spring Baptist Church where he was a part of Sunday School and Usher Board. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Pamela Clemons, of Suffolk; two daughters, Lois King of Portsmouth, VA and Shakarra Clemons of Shreveport, LA; three stepdaughters, Christi Sessoms of Norfolk, VA, Leeah Sharpe of Suffolk, VA, and Deeana Miller of Norfolk, VA; stepson, Christopher Sharpe of Suffolk, VA; sister, Joyce Ann Lyons; mother-in-law, Virginia Sessoms; four brothers-in-law, Percy Crigler, Calvin Hunt, Carlton Hayes, and Barry Sessoms; three sisters-in-law, Carolyn Cordell, Peggy Hunt, and Lavern Hayes; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; special niece, Regina Miller (Dino); special nephew, David Knight; a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2018, at Mineral Spring Baptist Church, 4849 Mineral Spring Road, Suffolk, Virginia. Rev. Alan Hunt will deliver the message of comfort. The family will receive guest at 238 Locust Street, Suffolk, Virginia, 23434.
