Earnest N. Minggia

Earnest (Fuzzy) N. Minggia, 74, of North 7th Street, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Sentara Obici Hospital. He was the son of the late Viola Boyd and Bennie Minggia. He was a graduate of Southwestern High School class of 1965 and retired from Huntington Ingalls Industries after 46 years of faithful and dedicated service. Fuzzy was also a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Varonica Mingga of Suffolk; son, Quinton Minggia of Suffolk; three sisters, Shirley Faulk of Suffolk, Lucy Faulk of Chesapeake and Gracey Cotton of Suffolk; five grandchildren, Quintal Olds, Donica Parker, Kaneshia Minggia, Cavon Turner, Sr. and Josha Minggia; seven great-grandchildren, Ty'Kera, Skilar, Dream, Cavon, Jr., Kobi, Kahlil and Caylani; a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held noon, Thursday, April 15, 2021 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. Pastor Larry Parker will deliver the eulogy. He will be laid to rest in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
