Earnell Harris-Lawrence

Earnell Leona Harris-Lawrence was orn to Bennie Wood Sr. and Edith Wood on May 27, 1952 in Suffolk, Virginia. She was the only girl of six children. Earnell found love with William K. Harris and married March 13, 1982. They were happily married until Williams's departure in 2012 Earnell was able to find love again with Lagayette Lawrence and the two were married September 13, 2014. Earnell was a dedicated servant at any church she attended. She loved her family and her church families. Earnell leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Lafayette Lawrence of Portsmouth, VA; two sons, Bryant Harris of Suffolk, VA and Demond Harris (Ashley) of Norfolk, VA; four brothers, Bennie Wood, Jr., Eddie Wood, Lindwood Wood and Theodore Wood; six grandchildren, Arsenio Sr, Reshad, Terry, Tyrus, Zaria and Zion; four great-grandchildren, Robin, Channing, Adrian and Arsenio, Jr.; other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held 1:00p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Collinswood-Agape Church, 1030 City Park Avenue, Portsmouth, Virginia. She will be laid to rest in Canaan Baptist Church.
