Dwayne Jamar Jennings “Wayne”, 39, was born February 27, 1982 in Suffolk, Va. He was preceded in death by his maternal Grandmother Helen Marie Gatling; uncles, William T. Jennings, James Thomas Jennings, and Linzie Blount; aunts Maudie Mae Warren, and Janette Lavern Mayfield. Dwayne Received his education at Old Dominion Job Corps Center/ Monroe, Virginia. He was employed at Emser Tile Distribution Center, as forklift Driver. Dwayne was a great son, brother, father, and friend. He touched the lives of many. He loved spending time with his loved ones. His children were his whole world. Dwayne had a love for music, dancing, ATV’s, and having a good time. He was a happy spirit, the life of the party and always kept a smile. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Jessica Jefferson, of Portsmouth, Va, Mother Janice Mills (Sanchez) of Conway, NC, Father, Linwood Blount II (DeJeannetta) of Hope Mills, NC, four daughters; Shadiyah Jefferson of Portsmouth, Va, Ta’Mya Jennings, Damani Jennings, and Malani Ensley all of Suffolk, Va, five sons; Dujuan Petties of Hampton, Va, Dairyion Jennings of Portsmouth, Va, Davion Jennings, Kamren Whitfield, and Dwayne Jennings Jr. all of Suffolk, Va, Brothers; Lamont Jennings, Lorenzo Barnes, Demetrus Barnes, and Linwood Blount III all of Suffolk, Va, Grandfather Linwood Blount Sr. (Catherine) of Suffolk, Va, Paternal Grandmother Mary Harrell Blount of Hope Mills, NC, Aunts; Barbara Ann Murphy, Rachelle Jennings, Kathy Stokes all of Suffolk, Va, Bobby Jean Fauntleroy ( Deon) of Pendleton,NC, Latonya White of Raleigh,NC, Uncles; Archie Jennings of Georgia, Darryl Jennings of Charlotte, NC, Algenon Jennings of Suffolk, Va, Great Uncle William Burrows of Suffolk, Virginia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Balm Church-East Campus. He will be laid to rest in Holy Lawn Cemetery.
