Doris Lillian Folk

Doris L. Folk, 74, of Hollywood Avenue, Suffolk, transitioned Friday, January 24, 2020.She was born in Elizabethtown, North Carolina and the  daughter of the late Thelma McKoy and Edgar Owens McKoy. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Frank Folk, Sr. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she served on the Senior Usher and Missionary Board. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Carmen Folk Bratcher of Millington, MD; son, John Frank Folk, Jr. of Suffolk, VA; two brothers, Sidney McKoy (Patricia) of Georgia and Edgar B. McKoy, Sr., (Marion) of Chesapeake, VA; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held noon, Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Oak Grove Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest in the Faulk Family Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
