Dora O. Banks

Dora O. Banks, 79, of Mineral Spring Road, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Pearlie Ophelia Golden White and Joe David White. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lee Banks and daughter, Emma Banks. She was a member of New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministries. She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, Theodore White of Suffolk, Virginia, many nieces, cousins, and friends. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministries. Bishop Viola Parker will deliver the message of comfort. She will be laid to rest in Langston Cemetery.
