Donald H. Kindred

Donald H. Kindred, 76, of Windsor, VA, transitioned on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Consulate Health Care of Windsor. Donald was born on September 8, 1945 to the late Georgia Holliman and Herbert L. Kindred in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. He was reared in the public school system, having attended the following schools; Gresham Grade School, Little Mt. Zion Elementary School, and Georgia Tyler Elementary School. Upon reaching adulthood, Donald worked as a skilled farm laborer for many years. Donald leaves to cherish his memories and carry on his legacy a son, Donald H. Kindred, Jr. of Illinois; three sisters, Carolyn Waters of Newark, NJ, Elizabeth Williams of Suffolk, VA, and Linda K. King (John) of Hampton, VA; two brothers, Larry W. Kindred, Sr. and Curtis D. Kindred (Connie) both of Suffolk, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A public viewing will be held 1-3pm, Sunday, December 12, 2021 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2021 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel. Bishop John H. Kindred will deliver the message of comfort. Mr. Kindred will be laid to rest at Tyler-King Cemetery, Windsor, VA.
