Dianne S. Dildy

Dianne S. Dildy, 67, of Webb Street, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned peacefully to be with the Lord Saturday, December 19, 2020 at her residence with her family by her side. Dianne S. Dildy was born February 4, 1953 to the late Lola Mae Perry and Paul Perry. She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Perry. Diane loved taking care of her family even after falling ill. And if she wasn't taking care of them you could find her in her back room drawing. She will be greatly missed . She is survived by her daughters, Janice Blunt of Charlotte, NC and Denise Daughtrey of Chesapeake, VA; 6 grandchildren, Sataria Daughtrey, Twuanette Daughtrey, Queona Daughtrey, Malik Rivas, Jakayla Daughtrey and Dakayla Daughtrey; three great-grandchildren, Nakhiya Collins, Kamari Outlaw and Jakhiye Collins; two sisters, Jacqueline Thorpe (Melvin) and Mary Artis (Ulyess) of Franklin, VA; three brothers, Calvin Perry of Newport News, VA, Ray Holley and George Perry of Franklin, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. A special thanks to Glendon Daughtrey. A viewing will be held 1-6 p.m. Friday, January 1, 2021 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel. A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021 in C.W. Ash Gardens of Carver Memorial Cemetery.
