Daniel Bullock, Sr.

Daniel Bullock, Sr., 85, of Florida Avenue, Suffolk, VA transitioned Friday, August 16, 2019 at Sentara Nursing Center Chesapeake. He was the son of the late Fannie Bullock and Thomas Bullock, Sr. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Essie Smith and Elmira Jones; brother, Thomas Bullock, Jr. He was a graduate of East Suffolk High School. He retired from Norfolk naval Shipyard as a Pipe fitter after numerous years of faithful and dedicated service. He was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church in Norfolk, VA where he was a member of the Mass and Male Choir. Daniel was also a member of the Hollywood/Jericho Civic League. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Gloria D. Bullock, of Suffolk, VA; daughter, Sybil D. Bullock; son, Daniel Bullock, Jr.; step-daughter, Kina Davis; step-son, Darryl Davis(Shirley); sister, Elaine Watson (Junius); two grandchildren, Maegan Young and Darius Bullock; sister-in-law, Iris Paige (Richard) A celebration of life will be held noon, Friday, August 23, 2019 at First Baptist Church Mahan, 112 Mahan Street, Suffolk, Virginia. He will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive guest at 2224 Florida Avenue, Suffolk, VA.
