Cynthia Thorne

On Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10:55pm, Cynthia Thorne gained her wings as she entered into eternal rest. She was born on November 21, 1960 where she was a native of Suffolk, VA. She was predeceased by her late mother, Audrey Thorne and late father Ernest Thorne who she are now accompained by. She was employed by Portsmouth Naval Medical Center for 25 years in Portsmouth, VA where she was dedicated and loved by many. She was also employed as a CNA for 6 years at James River Convention in Newport News, VA. The level of dedication she had for her employment, I'm sure she will be missed. As we continue to live on with her memories, we will remember her as the fun, loving, sweetheart she has always been. Keeping a positive perspective knowing she will no longer have to suffer. She leaves to cherish her fondest memories two daughters, Qeyona Thorne of Suffolk, VA, and Bisceglia Thorne of Newport News, VA; one son, Jamil Thorne (Yolanda) of Houston, TX; one bonus son, Tony of Newport News, VA; one grandson, Javion Felton of Suffolk, VA; one loving brother, Oscar Thorne (Byrd) of Suffolk, VA; one caring sister, Mrs. Pat of Newport News, VA; five aunts, Robin Baker of Suffolk, VA, Terry Williams (Nathan) of Suffolk, VA, Shirley Baker of New York, Sandra Colbert of Suffolk, VA and Vanessa Thorne of New York; three uncles, Richard Thorne of Suffolk, VA, Darrell Sugars (Cynthia) of Newport News, VA, and James Thorne (Joan) of New York; one niece, Shaniqua Thorne of Suffolk, VA; one nephew, Travis Thorne (Christian) of Suffolk, VA, a loving friend, Mr. Leon of Virginia, and a host of relatives, cousins, and friends. A public viewing will be held 12 noon - 6:00pm, Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Crocker Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held 12 noon, Monday, July 17, 2023 in the Melvin J.
