Cynthia McLaughlin

Cynthia McLaughlin,60,  Franklin, Virginia transitioned Wednesday, October 11, 2023 in her beloved home. She was born June 9, 1963 in Suffolk, VA to the late Mary E. Goodman and Phillip Bernard Brown.

She was a graduate of John Yates High School and Suffolk Beauty Academy. She wa a well known outgoing free spirited woman that was loved by many. She was a well dedicated employee of Walmart for over 15 years as well as other employers over the years. She loved feeding the birds, music, dancing and most of all she adored grilling and cooling especially sweet potato jacks!

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved children, Herbert Teal, 39, of New York and Jasmine Teal, 33, of Indiana, 7 grandchildren, Shyron, Asia, Nayshawn, Jocelyn, Cornell, Joelynn, Kaelynn; brothers, Kalvin Goodman, Shelby Goodman, Clarence Goodman, Thomas Goodman and the late Ricky Goodman, Shawn Brown, Wanda Brown, Shayvone Brown and Kerry Brown; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.

A celebration of life will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2023 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
