Corinne Hale, 70, of Suffolk, Virginia transitioned on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Autumn Care in Suffolk. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Walter R. Hale. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Carolyn L. Hale and Cathy Hale Scott; and grandson, Forice “Trey” Robinson, III.
Corinne received the Lord as her Savior at an early age and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Corinne was a 1973 graduate of John Yeates High School. She continued her education at the STOP Organization Nursing School. Corinne worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Corinne leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Deaconess Hattie L. Hale; sons, Jonathan L. Hale of Portsmouth, Carl Hale (Jillian) of Suffolk, and Jayron Hale of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Dr. Kimberly Hale Robinson of Suffolk; Sisters, Joyce Ann Hale of Suffolk and Linda Hale Williams (Walter) of Chesapeake. She leaves behind 18 adored grandchildren: Whitney, Dareious, Carl Jr, James, Aaron, Tevin, Jaszmyne, Asya, Jacob, Jamiyah, Jayla, Jonetta, Tayah, Jaeda, Nahla, Marley, Carmen, and Carson. Along with 8 great grandchildren: Jamarr, Candence, Camden, Emeri, Kaitlynn, Aaron Jr, Zy’aire Nijai, and Koa. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends.
The family wishes to express their deep appreciation for your kind expressions of sympathy, as well as the staff at Autumn Care Nursing Facility in Suffolk. Also, we would like to thank Trinity Hospice. Special thanks to Damier Evans, April Lee, and Laquita Benton for your dedication and care for Corinne.
The viewing for Corinne will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 2 p.m.- 5 p.m. at Crocker Funeral Home, 900 E. Washington Street Suffolk, Va. 23434. The homegoing service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Tabernacle Baptist Outreach Center, 3621 Nansemond Parkway Suffolk, Va. 23434. Officiating by Dr. Trevon D. Boone.
She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
