Clarence Williams, Jr.

Clarence Williams, Jr., 65, of Freeney Avenue transitioned March 4, 2018 at his residence. He is the son of the late Clarence Williams, Sr and Rosa Lee Carter. He was also preceded in death by his wife Nanie Paulet Williams, sisters, Helen Williams and Wilma johnson. Clarence was retired out of the United States Navy in 2006. He was a graduate of Paul D. Camp Community College and Christian Souls Paradise C.O.G.I.C. He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Farrah Knight and Chiquita Knight both of Suffolk; sisters, Eldina A. Williams and Onalisa Williams both of Plaquemine, LA; brother, Charles (Emma) Williams, Sr of Plaquemine, LA; grandchildren, Michelle Knight, Calvin Williams, Jr. and Laila Knight A celebration of life will be held noon, Friday, March 9, 2018 at Rising St. James Pentecostal Church, 201 N. 6th Street, Suffolk, Virginia 23434. Rev. Robert Wilkins will deliver the message of comfort. He will be laid to rest in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
