Clara Marion Darden, 71, of Sierra Drive, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at her residence. She was born August 20, 1951 in Suffolk, Virginia to Marion B. Barnes and the late Henry Copeland. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Kevin Darden, daughter, Shaherah Porter Perry, brother, Harry W. Barnes and nephew Derrick Barnes. Clara was the epitome of love. It was shown through her cooking and beautiful floral arrangements. Many people throughout the Suffolk community and beyond can attest that Clara's cooking was one of a kind! Anytime a person would visit her, Clara made sure you had some food to eat, whether you were hungry at the time or not. Clara's passion for creating floral arrangements was known to her community and she shared her passion with flowers for weddings, prom, funerals, and other occasions. Clara was a very compassionate and kind person, who freely and unselfishly gave to her family, friends, and community.
