Christine Boone Harrell

Christine Boone Harrell, 53, of Suffolk, VA, was born on February 7, 1968 to the late Rufus and Essie Mae Boone. She departed this earthly life on July 25, 2021 at Sentara Obici Memorial Hospital in Suffolk, Va. Christine grew up in Gates County and attended Gates County Public Schools. She was a proud graduate with Gates County High School Class of 1986. Her early belief in Christ as a youth, was cultivated at VC Temple Family Worship Center. As an adult, Christine united with Healing Chapel Baptist Church, Suffolk, VA under the leadership of Pastor Morris Allmond. She married Dallas Eugene Harrell in 1997. Preceding Christine in death was her parents and a sister, Delores Collier, who beat her to the finish line by only a few days. She leaves to cherish her precious memories to her husband of 24 years, Dallas Eugene Harrell, a daughter, Lakesha Monae Jones; two grandchildren, Alyssa Copeland and Kaiden Holmes; five brothers, Earl (Jackie) Ralph, Edenton, NC, Alvin (Paula) Ralph, Suffolk, Va, Rufus (Sarah) Boone, Sunbury, NC, Arthur (Teresa) Boone, Suffolk, VA, and Charles (Latoya) Boone, Newport News, VA; aunts, Clarine Morris, Diane Watford, Margaret Alexander, Emma Jean Ralph, and Gracie Riddick, uncles; Apostle George Ralph, Pastor Paul Ralph, Elder James Ralph, Henry Ralph, Arthur Thomas Boone, Thurman Boone; two children she raised as her own, Dyanna Hawkins and Armani White; three godchildren, Latrenda Dillard, Daron Jackson, and Jamarion White. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021 at New Mt. Joy Food for Living.
